The high priests
of stoner rock! In 1990 the EP "Monster Magnet" saw the light of day and since
then darkness has reigned! Dark and heavy, that is. "Monolightic Baby" is the
title of the New Jersey-combo Monster Magnet's new album, the proof of a band
rocking heavier and harder than ever. Dave Wyndorf & Co are now set to visit
the Sweden Rock Festival to spread their darkness to the Swedish summer!

Even though the band has been
quiet in the record stacks the last two years, they've toured frequently!
"New" singer and Texas son Johnny Solinger had his stage debut with the band
supporting Kiss on their farewell (yeah, right...) tour. You could imagine a
softer start, but that's they way it goes. In the end of 2003 the band's new
album "Thickskin" saw the light of day and it prooved to be a strong evidence
of a band highly alive, well and hard rocking. Heads down, no nonsense!
