From the heart............

People often tell me: " Uriah Heep ?"...They still exist..!!??"....It's the most banal thing I' ve ever been told ! I'd like to reply....:"It's you who don't exist anymore!!!"

The band was born 30 years ago and it still works a lot, just go to the official website and see how many CDs, DVDs and gigs they still do; you' ll understand that Rock will never die ! The Heeps have been the soundtrack of my life, to me after Jesus Christ there's Mick Box. I don't want to talk about the past, (they used to sell many copies and people to their gigs "had many zeros"), it would be a remembrance. I just want to say that they' re still alive and kicking, they go on stage showing a peace of mind that catches you, they are happy to do what they do as fifty year-olds like they did as 20. Not every player, (not artist), can do this , (Rock is life). Then there are our wannabe-artists, who are supported by the media, going on stage with the last technologies, pretending they' re teaching something, talking about Blues, Rock....go to hell!!!!

Am I partial?....YES, I AM. Why should I deny bits of happiness, feelings, just to say I listen to new stuff ? I' m up-to-date anyway, because I still feel what I felt in Rome in 1971 (Brancaccio theatre) !!!!!
